Uzma Khan Says Usman Wanted To Marry Her, Vows To 'Fight For Justice' Against Odds
Actor Uzma Khan has said that she was beaten up and held at gunpoint by the daughters of business tycoon Malik Riaz who broke into her house on the eve of Eid (Chaand Raat) last week. Addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Thursday, she said that she would pursue the case against Amna Usman, come what may. Khan ruled out the possibility of reaching a compromise with the Malik women.

The actor's lawyer who accompanied her during the press conference, denied Amna Usman's claims that her husband Usman Malik is the owner of the house where the incident took place. He said that the house has been rented in the name of Babar Naseem who is a friend of Uzma's, adding that the house is in possession of Uzma and Usman Malik does not own it. "We have legal documents to prove Uzma's possession of the house", he said.

Further, the lawyer said that Amna Usman confessed to entering the house in the video she posted on social media, adding that she did not have the right to invade the premises in that manner even if the house belonged to her husband as she had claimed.

"After Uzma's confession, the police have verifiable evidence. In normal cases, police arrest the accused after such an admission but in this case no arrest has been made despite the fact that all evidence is available", he said.

Uzma Khan said that she was friends with Usman till December 2019, but she had ended the relationship last year. "His wife has never approached me before [the incident]. I met her for the first time on Chaand Raat", she added.

In response to a question about involvement of Malik Riaz, Uzma's lawyer said that Riaz was himself the 'victim' of his two daughters who barged into a house and committed a crime. "They threatened Uzma and her sister to have them kidnapped by the ISI", he said, adding that the Malik women were defaming state institutions by involving them in the matter.

Uzma Khan claimed that Usman Malik was still messaging her and that she could present the evidence of his messages and calls before the court.

The lawyer then urged the government to provide security to Uzma and her sisters because they are being threatened by 'unknown' individuals who are harassing them into withdrawing the case.
