Unidentified Gunmen Kill Two Policemen In Islamabad
Two policemen were killed in Turnol, exchange of fire with unidentified men on Tuesday near Chowrangi No. 26 in Islamabad.

Dawn reported that the slain policemen were later recognised to be enrolled as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mohsin Zafar and Head Constable Sajjad in the Punjab Police.

Inspector General (IG) Mohammad Amir Zulfiqar Khan has taken notice of the incident, according to the Islamabad police spokesman. 

He also confirmed that to further investigate the incident, two teams consisting of the SP Investigation Syed Mustafa Tanveer and SP Saddar have been formed. They will be excelling under the supervision of these two officers.

The IG, after visiting the area where the violence took place, ordered that the probable culprits be arrested soon. He also said that all the resources available should be put into use and the investigation team will be allowed access.

The slain policemen were laid to rest and their funeral prayers took place in the Police Lines Headquarter, as reported.
