PIA Plane Crashes In Karachi
A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane flying from Lahore to Karachi has reportedly crashed in Model Colony, a residential neighborhood. 95 people are said to be on board.

Footage aired by TV channels showed smoke rising from the site of the accident. Ambulances and rescue officials have arrived at the site to help the affectees.

The flight took off from Lahore at 1 PM and was scheduled to land in Karachi at 2.45 PM. According to reports, the aircraft is registered AP-BLD and the flight number was PK8303.

ISPR has announced that Pakistan Army Aviation helicopters have flown for damage assessment and rescue efforts. "Urban Search and Rescue Teams are being set on site for rescue efforts", the DG ISPR tweeted.

There are reports that the rescue teams are facing difficulties due to the narrow streets of the neighborhood where the plan crashed.
