Pakistani, Turkish Users Run #BoycottUAE Campaign To Protest Country's Silence On Kashmir
#BoycottUAE became a trending topic on Pakistan Twitter where users from Pakistan as well as Turkey are advocating a boycott of United Arab Emirates.(UAE) for its lack of support to Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

Their grievances have stemmed from the time when UAE did not support the Muslims of Kashmir and still hasn't shown any statements of acknowledgement.

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf politician, Zartaj Gul Wazir also sided with the trend to chime in with her dislike for India and UAE.

However, many concerned Muslims from Pakistan who have been employed in the UAE have spoken up about their job security and how they have enjoyed their time being employed there for years. Much of the labour workforce in UAE has been Pakistani and Indian.

Another UAE based influencer replied to one of Ali Keskin tweet saying that Pakistani Muslims will be treated as terrorists if they come asking for jobs in UAE.

Another reason behind the trend in Pakistan is that UAE’s flag carrier, Etihad, has made its first-ever ‘known’ flight to Israel. Despite the fact that the two countries don’t have any formal ties, the airline’s cargo jet, carrying medical supplies for Palestinians, landed at Ben-Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.

However Turkey was the first Muslim nation to recognise Israel as a state, it still does not have friendly relations with it. Pakistan still does not acknowledge the status of Israel because of it's occupation of Palestine.
