Aamir Liaquat Makes Distasteful Remarks About Actor Irrfan Khan’s Death
Controversial TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain on Thursday made an insensitive and distasteful remark on the recent demise of versatile Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan.

Pakistan Today reported that during a television programme, Aamir Liaquat, while speaking to a Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui, commented on the Indian actor’s death in a way that even made the latter uncomfortable.

The TV host while highlighting the career of Adnan Siddiqui in Bollywood, said, “You worked in film Mom and Sri Devi died, then you worked with Irrfan Khan and he passed away as well.”

Aamir Liaquat even went on to say that Adnan was offered roles in Mardaani 2 and Jism 2, but he declined, so the actors of those movies owe their lives to the Pakistani actor.

These remarks made Adnan quite uncomfortable, in response to these comments, he said: “It is not something to joke about.”

Legendary Indian actor Irrfan Khan passed away on Wednesday at the age of 54. The actor was admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday, where he was being treated for colon infection.

Irrfan Khan in March 2018 revealed that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, a rare form of cancer that can target various parts of the body.
