Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Sindh Parliamentary Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh shared a video originally from Peshawar's Civil Hospital, falsely claiming it to be from a hospital in Sindh wherein it can be seen that cats were roaming freely and a woman patient was kept with dozens of male patients in an isolation ward.
Haleem Adil Sheikh shared the video on Twitter where he criticised the Sindh government for the poor condition of the hospital shown in the video. While taking a dig at PPP’s response to coronavirus, he said: “Health is a provincial subject, with budget over 140 bn. This is from Civil Hospital Karachi, where a 26 year old single female from Kemari is being kept in an isolation ward with around 30 other males, cats roaming around & insanitary conditions.”

In response to his tweet, people called out the PTI leader for spreading disinformation in times of a national crisis for ‘political scoring’. A Twitter user said that Haleem Adil shared a video of the hospital that is located in a city governed by his own party to criticise PPP. “Not only are they acknowledging their own incompetence, but are actively trying to point score off it. I am yet to find a lot dumber than this one,” she added.
