A man who set himself on fire outside the Prime Minister House in Islamabad has succumbed to his wounds. The individual, identified as Faisal, was shifted to PIMS hospital after he burnt himself outside the PM house, but he breathed his last shortly after being shifted to the hospital.
A letter circulating on media supposedly written by the deceased laments that his request to the PM to take action against a politician Javed Abbasi was ignored. “A fake case pertaining to recovery of alcohol bottles was made against me”, he said.
He further claims in the letter that he filed a case against Javed Abbasi in a local police station but no action was taken.
