Haripur's Doctors Use Drone To Fly Free Medicines To Vulnerable Patients At Their Homes

Doctors at the DHQ in Haripur have begun using a novel solution to deliver medicines and related supplies to patients with weak immune systems: the use of drones.

15 doctors at the hospital acquired a drone to deliver medication to heart, kidney and eye patients at their homes directly, so as to prevent them from coming into contact with the Coronavirus.

Doctors at Haripur's DHQ hospital are also providing free telemedicine services for the duration of the Coronavirus outbreak. Patients can call them and receive medical consultation free of charge – as well as a delivery of free medicines at their doorstep, through a drone!
