Bishop Who Said ‘God Is Larger Than COVID-19’ Dies From Virus
A Bishop Gerald Glenn in United States’ Virginia who said ‘God is larger than coronavirus’ died after contracting the deadly virus on Sunday.

US news media outlet CNN reported that despite warning from government officials to avoid mass gatherings, Glenn in a sermon on March 22 said that he was not afraid to die and he ‘firmly’ believe that God was more powerful than the fatal pandemic.

On April 4, Glenn's daughter posted a video on a social media website, confirming that his father and mother Marcietia Glenn had tested positive for coronavirus. Later on Sunday, the Virginia’s church posted a status on Facebook, announcing that Gerald Glenn's has died. The church asked people to allow the ‘first family’ to grieve in their own way.

"While they are mourning the heartbreaking earthly absence of their family patriarch & spiritual father, they also have family members who are struggling to survive this dreaded pandemic," the church's Facebook post read.

Glenn’s family confirmed that the final rituals of the deceased are expected to be performed within the next few days.
