APP Islamabad Office Sealed After Employee Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration on Friday sealed the Headquarters of Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) after an employee was found to be infected by coronvirus, Naya Daur has learnt.

A notification issued by the ICT administration on April 24 states, “It is notified that the deputy commissioner, Islamabad, while taking precautionary measures has sealed the premises of Associated Press of Pakistan Corporation, Headquarters, after an employee was found carrying the Coronavirus.”

The notification further states, “All the employees of fixed duty hours will work from their homes and remain constantly in touch with their concerned directors or in-charges.”

All news sections at APP, Islamabad shall remain out of bound for all editorial and associate staff from April 24 to April 27, 2020, the notice states.

According to the manager human resource, during this period, all employees will work from home. The circular said that the Urdu and English websites of the agency will be updated from off-site and until then, reporters and sub-editors assigned on rotational duty will have to work from home.
