3 Tableeghi Jamaat Members Cleared Of Coronavirus In Sindh Test Positive In KP
Three members of Tableeghi Jamat who were cleared of coronavirus after completing their quarantine term in Sindh have once again tested positive for the virus in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP). They were tested upon their entrance to the province.

The Express Tribune reported that they were certified to be clear of the virus by Bacha Khan Medical Complex, after they had stayed in quarantine for 2 weeks. The three members, however, belong to Tando Mohammad Khan and had to return to Sindh anyway.

The diagnostic and research laboratory, Liaquat University of Medical Health and Sciences in Jamshoro, had conducted the recent tests and found them positive as reported by an official of the Sindh Health Department.

The health department has also said that around eight of 10 members of the Tableeghi Jamat from Kasur in Punjab also tested positive after getting clearance certificates, and were shifted to quarantine centre in Sukkur.

Sindh Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah, had decided to inform health department to re-conduct tests for all individuals entering Sindh from other provinces, citing past experience with Taftan pilgrims.

The Sindh government had already expressed concern with the federal government on providing faulty testing kits for Covid-19 earlier and not conducting proper tests of suspected coronavirus patients coming from KP and Punjab.
