Unrelated Persons' Entry Into Sukkur Courtrooms Banned Due To Coronavirus Concerns

The Sindh High Court's Sukkur Bench has banned the entry of “unrelated persons” into courtrooms for the next 20 days. This is part of efforts to prevent a possible Coronavirus contagion from spreading.

Only judges and legal representation will be allowed to be present in courtrooms. Applicants, petitioners and accused would have to be checked – and unrelated people would not be allowed entry.

Sukkur authorities have also been permitted to set up an isolation camp for pilgrims returning from Iran.
