Taftan Pilgrims Quarantined In Multan Forced To Live In Poor Conditions
Pilgrims returning from Taftan who were placed in quarantine at a camp in Multan on Friday have said that they were not screened for coronavirus, expressing dissatisfaction at the facilities arranged by the government at the quarantine centre.

According to a report by Geo News, over 1200 pilgrims arrived in Multan from Taftan, while 433 went to Dera Ismail Khan.

The pilgrims say they are facing problems due to the lack of facilities.

Geo TV quoted one of the pilgrims as saying that even electricity and water were unavailable in certain blocks of the centre, adding that washrooms of the quarantine centre are in bad condition.

They also complained of the conditions of the beds provided to them and urged the authorities to act and provide them sufficient facilities.
