Sarmad Khoosat Takes Aim At Film/TV Fraternity On Twitter
Veteran filmmaker Sarmad Khoosat has taken to Twitter to express his continued disappointment over the obstacles to the release of his new film Zindagi Tamasha.
In his latest tweet on the issue, Khoosat appears to take aim at the film/TV fraternity. He says:
Been holding this back for a while as I didn’t want it to be an angry outrage, but let me tell you a good joke now:
Film/TV ‘fraternity’. Yeah the joke’s right there, an oxymoron too!

Zindagi Tamasha is a bilingual movie directed by Sarmad Khoosat, written by Nirmal Bano, and co-produced by Sarmad along with his sister Kanwal Khoosat. It has been shot in the city of gardens ‘Lahore,’ and it features Eman Suleman, Samiya Mumtaz, Arif Hasan and Ali Qureshi in leading roles.
The release of the film is still pending, due to uproar from a religious lobby led by the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
