Punjab Govt Announces Closure Of Shopping Malls, Restaurants At 10PM
The Punjab government has announced that all shopping malls and restaurants in the province will shut down at 10 PM in the wake of rising number of cases of the deadly virus in the country. However, the decision did not sit well with commentators on social media who are of the opinion that closure of malls and other public places after 10 PM will not help control the spread of the disease.
Pakistan Muslim League – N (PML-N) MNA Shazaf Fatima Khawaja took to Twitter to comment on the government’s fresh move. She said that government is dealing with coronavirus as if it were some power crisis and not a pandemic.
Decision to shut down shopping centres in Punjab at 10pm is beyond me.If anyone understands the logic pls explain
Corona is not some nocturnal animal,it doesn’t care about the timings. This is a pandemic we are dealing with not a power crisis🤯#CoronaVirusPakistan @PTIofficial

Many other social media users were amazed at the decision.
Punjab Govt has reportedly decided that shopping malls, restaurants and stores will close at 10:00 pm.
Probably think the virus is a vampire, won't come out before late night?

Punjab has closed shopping centers etc after 10pm. Does Wasim Akram plus think coronavirus is only active at night?
