The Punjab government has announced that all shopping malls and restaurants in the province will shut down at 10 PM in the wake of rising number of cases of the deadly virus in the country. However, the decision did not sit well with commentators on social media who are of the opinion that closure of malls and other public places after 10 PM will not help control the spread of the disease.
Pakistan Muslim League - N (PML-N) MNA Shazaf Fatima Khawaja took to Twitter to comment on the government's fresh move. She said that government is dealing with coronavirus as if it were some power crisis and not a pandemic.
