Pakistan’s first case of coronavirus, in which the virus has been transmitted within the country has been reported in Karachi on Friday. The 52-year-old patient, who tested positive for novel coronavirus has no international travel history.
The patient, two days ago traveled from Islamabad to Karachi, where he has been diagnosed with the deadly coronavirus. It is pertinent to mention that this is the first case in Pakistan, in which the virus is transmitted person to person within the territories of the country.
Journalist Asad Toor took to Twitter to inform people about the case, he revealed that the patient has not international travel history, therefore the disease has been transferred from person to person within the territories of Pakistan.

15 cases have been reported in Sindh so far, and out of 251 patients – who were tested, 236 people tested negative for coronavirus in the province. Moreover, 13 patients are under treatment currently, and two were discharged from the hospital.
