A coronavirus patient in Chilas, Gilgit Baltistan, aged 90, has passed away. The government authorities have confirmed the patient's death. This is the second reported death from coronavirus in Pakistan.
On Tuesday, a man died at Mayo Hospital, Lahore reportedly due to unavailability of ventilator. Government had denied he was a coronavirus patient, but hospital sources confirmed he was tested positive for the virus.
