Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced that the victims of coronavirus would be declared 'shaheed' (martyr). Adviser to CM on Information Ajmal Wazir said that the decision was made after government's consultation with religious scholars.
"After our meeting with clerics, we have decided that those who lose their lives due to coronavirus will be given the status of shaheed", he told media during a press conference about the government's steps to handle the outbreak.
