Khalilur Rehman Qamar Thanks TLP Chief Khadim Rizvi For Support
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, the infamous director, has thanked extremist cleric and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Khadim Hussain Rizvi for appreciating his efforts to ‘protect Pakistan from vulgarity’.
Khalil-ur-Rehman, while giving an interview to a digital media platform, said: “I am very thankful to Khadim Rizvi for supporting me. I know that being a religious personality, he could not tolerate immoral and vulgar activities in Pakistan,” he said.
Last week, following the incident of Khalil severely abusing journalist Marvi Sirmed, during a talk show on national TV, TLP chief appreciated the director for his rude behaviour with Marvi and said Khalil has done something which even most of the religious personalities would not have dared to do.
On Wednesday last week, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar abused activist and journalist Marvi Sirmed during a live talk show on Neo News. The incident created outrage on both social media and mainstream media, where several journalists, including Shahzaib Khanzada and Mansoor Ali Khan criticised the director for his abusive outburst publicly.
