‘Govt Hiding Thousands Of Coronavirus Deaths’, Says PM’s Assistant In Alleged Audio Clip
An alleged audio call of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Special Assistant Nadeem Afzal Chan is doing the rounds on social media, in which he can be heard saying that thousands of people are dying of coronavirus but the government is under-reporting the number of cases.

Nadeem Afzal Chan was talking to a person named Mukhtar. He said, “country’s situation is very serious right now. You [Mukhtar] should go to your hometown Hafizabad. Don’t come out and keep the children inside. Currently, thousands of people are dying of coronavirus, but the government is under-reporting the cases.”

To date, 887 confirmed coronavirus cases have emerged across the country, with the provincial governments of Sindh, Punjab, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa confirming 394, 249, 110, and 38 cases respectively. Moreover, the government officials have confirmed six coronavirus deaths in Pakistan.
