Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has called on all concerned parties to step up preparations for dealing with the global Coronavirus pandemic.
The Army Chief's statement came in the wake of a Corps Commanders Conference looking at a number of issues at the General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi. The conference examined the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and the Afghan peace process.
Across the country, the total number of cases that tested positive for Coronavirus has reached 21 on Thursday.
Forum also discussed emerging situation with regards to COVID-19 and preventive measures taken at Army level. COAS directed all concerned to gear up preparations in support of national effort to counter this pandemic in case of any eventuality. (3/3)
