Kumar Sangakkara has called upon international teams to tour Pakistan, so as to promote the revival of cricket in the country. Club President and captain of the Marleybone Cricket Club, Sangakkara recently wrapped up a week-long tour of Lahore.
The Marleybone Cricket Club played three T20 and one 50-over match over the course of their stay. They also had the opportunity to relax and explore the city's options for food and recreation.
“It's been great to be back in Pakistan,” said Sangakkara during a PCB podcast. He remains one of the highest scoring Test batsmen from his time on the Sri Lankan national squad.
