Manzoor Pashteen Granted Bail In All Cases
Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) chief Manzoor Pashteen's bail applications in all cases have been accepted by the court, paving the way for his release from prison. Earlier, the PTM chief had his bail approved in two cases, while two others were pending. After the bail in all remaining cases, he is expected to be released soon.

MNA Mohsin Dawar took to Twitter to welcome the development and thanked those who raised voice against the PTM chief's arrest.

Pashteen was taken into custody last month and sent on judicial remand on charges of sedition, prompting protests by rights activists. Police had launched a crackdown on a protest against Manzoor Pashteen's arrest in Islamabad, arresting several activists. Some of the arrested protesters were released the same day, but others remained in custody and were later charged with sedition. Islamabad High Court (IHC) had granted bail to the detained activists while reprimanding the Deputy Commissioner for placing sedition charges on peaceful protesters.
