Supreme Court Justice Qazi Faez Isa has claimed that a number of politicians including Prime Minister Imran Khan possess offshore properties. According to a private news channel, Justice Isa, who is facing a presidential reference in the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) for allegations of possessing offshore properties in the name of his wife, made these remarks in his reply to the court.
The report further said that the 116-page response submitted to the SC by Justice Isa stated that several individuals had hidden their assets abroad through offshore companies, and PM Imran was among them.
Justice Isa further said that his wife and children had never used offshore companies to hide their assets abroad, adding that the all their properties were bought in their own names.
