Govt Shuts Down Shelter Home Set Up At Ishaq Dar's House
Former finance minister Ishaq Dar's house in Lahore which was converted into a shelter home has been closed by the Punjab government. Earlier on Monday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had issued an interim order against the government's decision after Dar's wife moved the court.

The petitioner maintained that the government violated NAB Ordinance 1999 as under Section 12(F) the status of any attached property could not be changed till the disposal of the case.

According to the lawyer, Section 12(F) required that properties frozen and attached under National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law would remain intact till the final disposal of the case.

LHC's Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan nullified the Punjab government's decision converting Dar’s house into a shelter home.
