Factory owners went on an outburst about the hike in electricity prices in front of Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar during a meeting at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce. One of the factory owners stood up and emotionally explained to the governor how serious the situation is.
A video doing the rounds on social media shows the person lamenting that the crisis has created immense difficulties for them. "If the problem is not resolved, we would lock our factories and present the keys to you", he told the governor. The officials tried calming him down and assured him that the issue would be resolved.
