Bilawal Bhutto Says Aseefa To Lead Party If He Is Arrested
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that his sister Aseefa Bhutto Zardari would lead the party in case he is arrested.
Earlier on Thursday, the PPP chairman appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a case pertaining to the company JV Opal 255.
PPP Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokar had confirmed Bilawal’s appearance before the accountability bureau, saying that Bilawal gets a notice from NAB every time he criticises the government.
The PPP chairman has been lashing out at the government and Prime Minister Imran Khan over the economic crisis lately. On Tuesday, Bilawal came down on the PM and said that his politics has always been the result of ISI chiefs’ blessings.
