A woman in Rawalpindi escaped an attempt at rape after she was offered a lift. Police in Rawalpindi registered a case against suspects Faisal Butt, Muhammad Hussain and Ziauddin.
The woman was walking towards Hukumdad Chowk when the three suspects drove up to her and offered her a lift to her destination. Since she knew the men, she agreed to their offer. Once she was in the vehicle, two of them began attempting to force themselves upon her, while the third drew a pistol in an attempt to threaten her. She began to scream for help. The suspects stopped their car by the side of the road and left her there.
Law enforcement officials from the Waris Khan police station took charge of the investigation.
