US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Alice Wells has expressed her admiration for Pakistani women serving as part of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Just recently, the United Nations mission (MONUSCO) has awarded the UN medal to a team of 15 Pakistani female military officers.
