Ukranian Plane Crashes After Take Off Near Tehran, 176 Killed
A Ukraine International Airlines flight crashed shortly after taking off from the airport in Tehran, killing all 176 people on board.

According to reports in foreign media, a Boeing 737 took off from Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran early Wednesday morning, with 167 passengers and nine crew members.

Shortly after take off, the plane crashed, killing all the people on board.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that the country’s embassy in Iran was working to clarify the circumstances in which the plane crashed.

Emergency crews made their way to the area but were unable to assist in rescue operations due to the fire.

Meanwhile, flight-tracking service FlightRadar24 has said that the plane had been in service for about three and a half years.

It has been reported that the crash occurred due to technical difficulties.
