Sheikh Rasheed Disgruntled At Being Grilled By CJ Gulzar
Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has reportedly expressed disgruntlement over being reprimanded by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed during hearing of a case pertaining to Pakistan Railways.

According to a report by Geo News, the minister took this up during a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday. He said that judiciary should not intervene in executive matters, adding that the SC's act was not just an intervention in his ministry but was an insult to the entire government.

The PM, however, did not agree with the minister and advised him to satisfy the apex court. "We have to address the judiciary's concerns and work with them", the report quoted the PM.

Imran Khan also advised Sheikh Rasheed to provide answers to the court instead of being resentful.

Earlier, Chief Justice Justice Gulzar Ahmed had grilled Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed over a train accident that had left 70 people dead near the city of Liaquatpur last year.

He made these remarks during the hearing of a case related to the business and management of Pakistan Railways. Sheik Rasheed appeared before the court on Tuesday morning and represented the Pakistan Railways.
