Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader Manzoor Pashteen has been arrested in Peshawar. According to PTM activists, the PTM founding leader was taken into custody in Peshawar on Sunday night.
Police officials have confirmed the arrest of PTM leader Manzoor Pashteen. Last week, Pashteen had demanded the formation of ‘qaumi jirga’ for negotiation over the on-going issues and grievances of the Pashtun community.
PTM workers and activists have taken to Twitter to condemn the arrest. MNA Mohsin Dawar has also posted a tweet condemning the development.
