Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani has said that we were witnessing a government of TikTok, and its downfall would be through TikTok.
According to a report in Nawai Waqt, the Sindh Information Minister was talking to media after attending an event at college in Karachi. He stated that this was a TikTok government and could only rule through TikTok. He added that the government’s downfall would be through TikTok.
The statements have come after a recent spate of incidents pertaining TikTok celebrities and their scandals with federal ministers.
On Sunday, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry slapped journalist Mubashir Lucman during a wedding ceremony. The incident allegedly took place after Lucman accused Fawad of being involved in ‘video-recordings with Hareem Shah’.
Two weeks back, Federal Minister Sheikh Rasheed was in the spotlight after leaked videos showed him in conversation with TikTok celebrity Hareem Shah.
In one of the videos, the woman in the video could be heard saying that Sheikh Rasheed engaged in problematic acts on video in front of her.
