A protest demonstration was held in Parachinar, KP against the killing of Iran's elite Quds Force head Qasim Suleimani in a US drone strike. Protesters chanted slogans against the US and termed the attack an act of barbarism.
Suleimani was killed in a US airstrike in Baghdad, Iraq on Friday. The attack targeted a vehicle near Baghdad Airport. Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, vice president of Iraq’s Hashd al-Shaabi group, or Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) also lost his life in the attack.
Pakistan reacted to the killing and said that it will disturb the regional peace and stability.
