PM Imran Says Advisers ‘Misguiding’ Him Over Inflation
Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his displeasure over rising inflation and said that he was being misguided by cabinet ministers. He expressed these views, while addressing a recent federal cabinet meeting at the Prime Minister Office (PMO).
According to sources, the prime minister reprimanded his economic team in the meeting. He further inquired from the five ministers, who are part of economic council as to why inflation has increased in the country.
While heading the meeting, PM Khan on one occasion said, “I am being misguided regarding economic affairs of the country as it seems that inflation has become un-stoppable.”
PM Imran also questioned as to where MQM-leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was. Siddiqui has resigned as Federal Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication earlier this month.
