Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) has suspended the basic membership of its member Mufti Kifayatullah. Former senator JUI-F Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman has confirmed the news of Mufti Kifayatullah’s party-membership suspension.
Mufti Kifayatullah is known for his ‘vocal’ positions against establishment in the near past. During the recent Azadi March at Islamabad, he publicly criticised the establishment’s intervention in political affairs of country. He also opposed the retired military generals’ presence in political shows on various TV channels in Pakistan, while giving his opinion in a talk-show.
