Journalist and activist Imtiaz Alam's house was allegedly ransacked by unknown men who held the domestic staff hostage and beat them up. Alam's wife and daughter were home at the time of the incident.
According to activist Marvi Sirmed, more than ten men carried out the attack and also hurled threats at Imtiaz Alam's wife.
