The Hindu Mata Bhatiani temple in Tharparkar Sindh has been vandalized by unknown assailants on Sunday.
The miscreants entered into the temple, desecrated the interior and damaged the goddess’ statue. The face of the idol has also been blackened by the mob. The local Hindu community has expressed anger and outrage at this attack.

It is said that the Mata Bhatiani temple was constructed using materials that originally belonged to Jain temple of Khed, due to which it enjoys high esteem among the Hindu community of Pakistan.
Sindh has been constantly witnessing attacks on the Hindus since long. Apart from attacks on temples, forced conversions of Hindu girls is another menace being faced by the minority.
