The only girls' college in Dera Bugti's district Sui reportedly has surveillance cameras installed in the washrooms. According to a report by a Balochistan-based news website Republican News, the surveillance cameras have been installed in various places on the campus including the washrooms.
The report published by the said website also quotes students as saying that they raised their concerns over the matter with the administration of the college, but they rejected their objection saying that the cameras were installed due to security reasons.
Model School and Girls College is situation in the Sui area of Dera Bugti and has been established by Pakistan Petroleum Limited. It is attended by children of the companies' employees.
