Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid has said that the government was unaware of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s health because his medical team was not updating them regularly over his health.
Rashid made this claim while talking to press following a picture of Nawaz Sharif at a London restaurant went viral on social media.
After the picture emerged on social media, Prime Minister Imran Khan had directed Yasmeen Rashid for an update on Nawaz Sharif’s health.
She added that the last letter to the government regarding Nawaz Sharif’s health was on 30th December, and the government had not been updated beyond that.
Rasheed also said that the reports received by the government were insufficient.
Moreover, regarding Maryam Nawaz’s application for removal of her name from the Exit Control List, Rasheed questioned if the PML-N vice president would take care of Nawaz at a restaurant.
