Federal Cabinet Blames ANF For Incompetence In Rana Sanaullah Drug Trafficking Case

Members of the federal cabinet have blamed the Anti-Narcotics Force for incompetence in the Rana Sanaullah drug trafficking case.

During a meeting of the federal cabinet in which the DG ANF was also present, members stated that the incompetence of the ANF was visible in the Rana Sanaullah case.

Minister of State for Narcotics Control Shehryar Afridi stated that the DG ANF had swore drugs had been recovered from Rana Sanaullah.

Moreover, Federal Minister Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema said that courts need actual proof instead of people swearing.

Moreover, Fawad Chaudhry, Shireen Mazari, and Murad Saeed stated that the investigation had been carried out by the DG ANF, but everyone was blaming Prime Minister Imran Khan for Rana Sanaullah’s arrest and incarceration without proof.

The DG ANF stated that their purpose was to make the country free of drugs and were not affiliated with any political party. He added that they worked for the government, and they did not want to make allegations against anyone.

The DG ANF that the case was not politically motivated and whatever case had been made, it had been based on facts.
