Bilawal Condemns Dawar, Wazir’s Arrest, Says Peaceful Protest Not A Crime
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has condemned the arrest of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM)-linked MNAs Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar. The PPP leader took to Twitter to remind the government of its ‘oath to uphold the constitution of Pakistan’. He added that peaceful protest is not a crime.

Earlier today, lawmakers Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar were taken into custody by Islamabad police for protesting against the arrest of PTM chief Mohsin Dawar. Activists and supporters of the PTM had gathered outside Islamabad Press Club to protest against the arrest which police launched a crackdown and arrested several protesters.
