Pakistani athlete Irfan Mehsood from South Waziristan has broken a Guinness World Record that was previously held by an Indian.

He was able to do 48 one legged push-ups with an additional weight of 60 pounds in one minute thus breaking the previously held record of 34 such push-ups.

The previous record was held by Ashwani Khumar.

Mehsood had sent in his entry in August and was extremely happy when he got the response. He said that it was an honour that he could bring his country recognition for something.

He also holds 25 other Guinness World Records.
