On Fifth Anniversary Of APS Attack, Politicians Lament Delayed Justice

On the fifth anniversary of the horrific terrorist attack on the Army Public School (APS) in Peshawar, politicians have expressed their sympathies and condolences whilst calling for justice for the families of victims.

In a message on this day, Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned the APS attack and expressed his sympathies to all those affected by the tragic event. He emphasised that the nation would continue to fight for national, regional and world peace. He further said that education was the only weapon against extremism and terrorism.

Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that parents of martyred students were still demanding justice five years from the APS attack. He added that it was a travesty that the APS commission report had not been released and that it was a failure of the state that justice had not been served.
