Former lawyer of General (r) Pervez Musharraf has said that they ‘would not spare anyone’ and would take legal action against all those who had approved the emergency.
A special court hearing the case of former president Pervez Musharraf awarded him the death sentence in the case of high treason today.
While speaking to media following the decision, the lawyer in a fit of anger said that they would not leave anyone.
In response to a question about the remedy pertaining to the case, he said that there should be a referendum about whether the November 2007 emergency imposed by Musharraf was right or not.

He said that Musharraf had taken the advice of the then prime minister Shaukat Aziz, adding that Pervez Musharraf was the president at that time and hence had immunity.
The verdict today was given by a special bench consisting of Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Waqar Seth, Sindh High Court Justice Nazar Akbar and Lahore High Court Justice Shahid Karim.
