Musharraf Says Being 'Victimised' By Treason Case
Former president, Pervez Musharraf, while referring to the treason case registered against him, said that he was being victimised. He is currently in an American hospital in Dubai being treated for various ailments.

The president said that he has been faithful to the country for over ten years and the allegations made against him are completely baseless. He also claimed that his lawyers were not being heard in the proceedings of the case.

Pervez Musharraf has been involved in treason charges since 2007 when the Peoples Party government, under Yusuf Raza Gillani, first charged him for high treason, under article 6 of the constitution, because of his imposition of emergency rule earlier.

He also had an arrest warrant issued against him in 2011 for the Benazir Bhutto Assassination case.

Right now, the case is being heard in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and his lawyers have been given till December 5th to come up with statements for the case.
