Missing Okara Lawyer Returns Home, Police Refuses To Register FIR

Lawyer Shafiq Ahmed, who was kidnapped on the 10th of December from Okara, returned home today.

The lawyer, according to a report by Dawn, was left by his abductors in Dera Ismail Khan. He was kept there before and was tortured. He was also made to sign some bank papers.

The police had refused to file a case for his abduction.

The lawyer had previously run into trouble with the FIA for posting against government agencies.
