JI Chief Siraj-Ul-Haq Says Kashmir March Banners Were Removed In Capital

Jamaat-e-Islami chief Siraj-ul-Haq has said that banners of the Kashmir March were removed from Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

The Kashmir March was held on Sunday and was lead by the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI). The aims of the march were to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir.

Prior to the march, the JI chief took to Twitter to state that banners of the Kashmir March were removed in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. He further questioned why the government was making India happy by removing these banners.

On Sunday, during the march, the JI chief stated that no power could separate Kashmir from Pakistan.

He also criticised the Indian government for its policies in Kashmir, highlighting the fact that tens of thousands of people had been arrested since the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir.
