DG ISPR Says Pakistani Users' Twitter Accounts Being Suspended For Tweets On Kashmir
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that Pakistani users were having their accounts blocked on Twitter for posts on Kashmir.

In a tweet, Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistani users were facing problems with their accounts being suspended on one pretext or the other. He added that most of the blocked accounts were due to the users’ expressions in support of Kashmir.

He added that authorities were making efforts to solve the issues and urged people to stay put as responsible users.

In October, an investigation carried out by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) had revealed that micro-blogging website Twitter blocked a million tweets about Kashmir at the request of the Indian government.
