Govt Receives Gift Of Malaysian Premier Mahatir Muhammad To PM Imran
Malaysian Prime Minister Mahatir Muhammad’s gift of a Proton X70 SUV vehicle to Prime Minister Imran Khan has reached Pakistan.
In March 2019, during his visit to Pakistan, the Malaysian prime minister had announced that he would be gifting the Pakistani prime minister the vehicle and gave the Pakistani premier a key of the car.
Two days back, the Malaysian High Commission had tweeted that the Proton X70 SUV would be making its preliminary debut in Pakistan.

In a ceremony today, the car was handed over to the Pakistani government at Malaysia’s High Commission.
According to a report in Business Recorder, the car key was handed over to Adviser to PM for Commerce, Textile, Industry & Production and Investment Abdul Razaq Dawood by Malaysian High Commissioner Ikram Bin Mohammed Ibrahim.
During the ceremony, the Malaysian High Commissioner expressed his country’s commitment to improve trade with Pakistan while Dawood stated that Pakistan was optimistic to witness increase in trade volume between the two countries.
The Malaysian High Commissioner stated during the ceremony that the car was a gift from one brother to another.
